Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises Pty Ltd (KEE) currently holds two EPA licences; one for the landfill operation and one for composting.

As part of licence requirements KEE undertakes regular monitoring of the environmental conditions on site.

Pollution Incident Response Management

The EPA requires licence holders to maintain plans to respond to and manage pollution incidents that risk harm to the health or safety of people or to the environment should they arise. Kimbriki adheres to this requirement

The Kimbriki site is staffed 7 days a week 7am to 5pm, excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday when the site is closed. Kimbriki can be contacted:

Kimbriki Communication with the Community

In the event of a pollution incident risking harm to people or the environment, neighbours will be informed by either phone or door knock. The specific nature of the incident will result in Kimbriki staff, local council, or emergency services representatives informing:

  • Kimbriki Road & Kamber Road residents
  • The Secretaries of the Duffys Forest and Terrey Hills Progress Associations

If an incident occurs notifications, updates and safety information will be placed on this web site.
