After 23 years of operating from Ingleside, the Peninsula Senior Citizens Toy Repair Group has officially closed its workshop at that location.
In November last year, the group proudly celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Over those five decades, thousands of toys have been rescued from landfill and lovingly restored. These toys have brought hope and joy to children across Australia and around the world, in many cases, to children who had never owned a toy before.
We sincerely thank everyone who has donated toys over the years. Your generosity has made this work possible.
The group is now based at The Hub at the Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre.
OPENING HOURS AT WORKSHOP:
Monday to Thursday
9:00am – 12:30pm
(Other times by special arrangement)
Toy donations are still warmly welcomed and can be dropped off at Household Problem Waste – Drop Off Point 3 to the Toy Shed daily between 7am till 5pm.
We accept clean, pre-loved toys, games, puzzles, soft toys, dolls, dress-ups and indoor and outdoor sporting items. In fact, most items that children have finished using and no longer need.

While we do accept baby and toddler toys, we are unable to accept cots, car seats, change tables, cot mattresses, prams, nappies, portable/overnight cots, and highchairs. These items can be donated to The Dandelion Support Network.
We kindly ask that you respect these guidelines.
If you would like to become a recipient and access our extensive range of toys and resources, you are very welcome to apply. Applications are open to charities and not-for-profit organisations working for the benefit of children including children in need, children with special needs, and those experiencing poverty or the effects of family and domestic violence.
We also welcome applications from allied health professionals, registered carers, educators, teachers, and hospital auxiliaries requiring resources for children in their care.
