Thank you to all of you that have donated a bicycle to us!

A very special thank you, goes out to those who donate their personal high end bicycles to us. We have been amazed by the generosity of people who give us very expensive mountain bikes and road racing bikes, often anonymously. Once received, we get our best mechanics to meticulously service these top end bikes and then sell them, sometimes for more than a $1,000 each.

With that money raised, we can buy shipping containers and pay for the high costs of freight to Asia, Africa or the Middle East. For example, in early May, a container with more than 400 fully serviced bicycles was delivered to a girls school, run by the Te- Kworo Foundation, in Pader in Northern Uganda. This means that around half the school will now have transport. These bikes not only make the girls’ journey far safer, but also means their whole family has a valuable vehicle at their disposal.
