Explore the HUB at Kimbriki during the Seniors Festival!

Northern Beaches Council is offering our community seniors an exclusive opportunity to embark on a guided tour of the Kimbriki site, Eco House & Garden, and the HUB as part of the Seniors Festival. Join the day out on Tuesday 19th March from 10am to 1pm, and witness the fascinating daily operations of our Resource Recovery Centre while gaining insights into various recycling options.

The HUB is home to four not-for-profit organisations, each contributing to waste reduction through repair and reuse:

  • Seniors Toy Repairers
  • Bikes4life
  • Boomerang Bags
  • Reverse Garbage

Dedicated volunteers at the HUB work diligently to minimise waste going to landfill. Following your exploration of the HUB, enjoy a guided walk through the Eco House & Garden, indulge in a light lunch, and cap off your experience with a bus tour of the entire Kimbriki site.

Transport options (bus optional):

  • Bus pick-up from The Tramshed car park, 1395A Pittwater Rd, Narrabeen at 9:30am.
  • If driving, park at the HUB, located halfway down the hill on the left.

Attendance is free, and bookings open on 1st March, with limited spaces available. To secure your spot, visit https://www.trybooking.com/…/sessions/4345972/sections… and reserve your place for this enriching and enjoyable event. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to discover the sustainability efforts at Kimbriki and be part of the Seniors Festival celebration!
