Unless badly rusted, please drop off bikes to Bikes4Life at βThe Hubβ, on your left before you reach weighbridge. Drop Off point is at the back of The Hub at the bike cage.
These bikes will be refurbished.

Building Dust – (Ceiling & Cavity, etc.)
Accepted at Insulation bins via Mixed Waste Drop Off Point (5)

Conditions Apply:
- Must be in heavy duty bags or thick builders plastic and sealed well with duct tape.
- Hand unloading of parcels up to a maximum of 20kg only.
- All material must be unloaded into designated Insulation bins by hand.
- No mechanical unloading or oversized parcels allowed.
Concrete Dust

- Pre-1980 carpet underlay may contain recycled material made from sacks used to transport asbestos.
- This underlay must be treated as asbestos and the asbestos pricing applies.
Ink Cartridges
Not Accepted at Kimbriki
Ask your current cartridge provider whether they have a recycling program. Alternatively, Cartridges 4 Planet Ark has printer cartridge recycling bins at Australia Post, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi and Office National stores. Magnesite Flooring
Accepted at Asbestos bins via Mixed Waste Drop Off Point (5)

Conditions Apply:
- Material must be bagged or wrapped and sealed in heavy duty builders plastic.
- Parcels must not exceed 20kgs.
- Parcels must be secured to ensure airborne dusts are not released during unloading.
- Magnesite must be unloaded into designated asbestos bins by hand.
- No assistance by mechanical equipment or tipping is permitted.
Not all, but some varieties of magnesite flooring contain white asbestos material which can represent a health hazard when handled incorrectly.
Pallets
Accepted at Vegetation Drop Off Point (2)
Accepted at Engineered Timber area / Mixed Waste Drop off Point (5)
Charged as Vegetation, Engineered Timber or Mixed Waste
Conditions Apply:
- If 100% raw timber unpainted and untreated then accepted as Vegetation.
- If they have composite legs or plinths then it would be accepted as Engineered Timber.
- CHEP and LOSCAM pallets not accepted.
- If painted, fumigated or treated then it would be accepted as Mixed Waste.
Polystyrene, Styrofoam
Accepted at Mixed Waste Drop Off Point (5)

Note: Visit Council's Waste Reduction Events for our next FREE Polystyrene drop off collection. They are now held monthly at Kimbriki. Only rigid pieces of 100% clean, white and dry polystyrene packaging are accepted as they can be recycled.
Sawdust

- portable speakers with inbuilt rechargeable batteries should be dropped at the Fluro & Batteries shed.
- If audio equipment is metal, then can be dropped to the metal pile for free.
X Rays, X Ray Machines
Not Accepted at Kimbriki
Residents β you can drop off loose x-rays (no envelopes/bags) in the x-ray bins at Council Customer Service Offices in Dee Why, Manly and Mona Vale or the libraries at Warringah Mall, Glen Street and Forestville.
